Closing between 2024, works are presented that make a great contribution to the theoretical and practical aspect of the specialty applicable to multiple aspects of medicine. As well as exploring new ways in deciphering information not well known about genetics and its usefulness in the treatment of these pathologies
In this issue we put for your consideration, a guide Allergy to Breaths, prepared by the Subject Committee, of the Argentine Association of Allergy and Clinical Immunology. This presentation, which in the current situation of increasing knowledge about food allergy, leads us to have this important support for: allergological practice, dermatological allergy, pediatric medicine, hematology, neurology, internal medicine, and digestive diseases.
Another aspect presented here is drug reactions in patients suffering from HIV. This work is a great contribution that comes to us from Colombia and opens a spectrum of immunological reactions in those patients who are HIV infected. The presence of multiple reactions, such as blistering diseases, pulmonary fibrosis, hematological, digestive, and renal compromises, make this review work an important update of what we must take into account in the care of this pathology and others, where drugs with the capacity to attack the immune system of the patient are used, both with HIV and other non-HIV, anti-convulsant example.
Finally, we present a work and model of various effects of the Methylenetetrahydrofolate reductase (MTHFR) gene presented at the invitation of Professor DR Sadi Cossy Isasi. He analyzes the effects of the gene in various pathologies, different from those of Thrombophilia, its first aspect and is currently connected with Asthma, Allergy, IL 17, metabolic aspects of folic acid and vitamin B12 its impact on immune response, as well as the use of flavonoids and their implication in inflammation, oxidation and anti-cancer. Its application is broad
We hope that this issue 4 of volume 55 will be of great interest to readers
